Hello all,
Last year we made a change to those with Off-Peak memberships allowing those members to play at peak times if the court was booked by a Full member (or equivalent - Joint, Full-time student, Honorary).
There has been a lot of feedback regarding this change, and we are reverting to the previous system whereby Off-Peak members must pay a guest fee if they play at peak times.
In this case, do not select your Off-Peak opponent, but choose ***GUEST £4 , and the guest fee will be automatically added.
Full members have commented, that it did not seem right they pay a Full membership fee, but an opponent only pays an Off-Peak fee.
Also, some members who were previously Full, have changed to Off-Peak to take advantage of this concession. This has been an unintended consequence of this change.
If any Off-Peak member wished to go back to Full membership, please let me know and I will advise how much a pro-rate payment will be.
Juniors cannot book peak courts, but do not have to pay a guest fee if court booked by a Full member (or equivalent). If Junior members need to book peak courts, please contact me and membership can be switched to Full-time student.
