Looking for Sponsorship - Our Yearly Cheam Squash PSA Pro Tournament Event.

Dear Member,

July 26th - 28th will see the return of our annual professional squash tournament. It is a fantastic weekend of squash where Cheam Squash Club will host some of the world’s best players. In previous years we have had the pleasure of watching: Richie Fallows (WR 59), Josh Masters (WR 55) & Rui Soares (WR 92) and hopefully this year we can welcome more players of this calibre.

Why does the club run this event?

1. It supports the overall sport of squash. Hosting these events provides benefits to: recreational, junior and professional players. The continuation of these events is essential in ensuring the future of squash is prosperous.

2. It supports young professional squash players taking their first steps on the Professional Squash Association (PSA) World Tour. Events such as the Cheam Squash Club PSA are a great opportunity for young players to gain invaluable ranking points to help them scale the rankings.

3. It allows young professional players to earn prize money, thus allowing them to continue their quest of being a professional squash player.

4. It provides our members with the opportunity to watch and socialise with world class squash players. As we have witnessed in previous years, the players are very approachable and happy to chat about life on the world tour and their training regimes.

5. It gives our junior players an opportunities to meet and watch professional players.

6. It promotes the club not just within the Surrey area but also nationally as these events are followed by squash supporters around the UK.

We need your support!

In order to run this event the club is seeking sponsorship to help contribute to the prize money purse. If you or someone / business that you know may be interested in sponsoring the event please email Neal (neal_brooker@hotmail.com) or Stuart (stuiesav@googlemail,com). We will be exploring sponsorship from outside of the club, but we would like to offer our members the first chance to support the event.

Thanks,

Stuart
