Karen Beckman

Dear Members,

I am so sorry to tell you that Karen Beckman passed away yesterday morning peacefully after a 3 year battle with cancer.

The family were with her. Not much else that words can really say to make it any better.

I know we have lost a lovely person who was an outstandingly talented and modest sportswoman, a member of Cheam Squash Club for many years, and one of the loveliest people that anyone could wish to meet!

I’m sure a lot of us have great memories of karen both on and off court!

The family will be planning some kind of celebration of her life once all restrictions have been lifted and we’ll keep you all posted.
