Entry Open for Racketball and Handicap Squash Tournaments 2019

Dear Member,

The entry for the handicap and racketball tournament is now live! Please note that the Finals this year will be played on a Saturday afternoon / evening as per the schedule below.

Entry is via your online court booking account.

Handicap Squash and Racketball Tournaments 2019

Tournament Schedule:

Friday 11th October - Entry Deadline

Friday 18th October - Draw Released

Friday 1st November - Round 1 To be completed by

Friday 8th November - Round 2 To be completed by

Wednesday 20th November - Quarter Finals To be completed by

Wednesday 27th November - Semi Finals To be completed by

SATURDAY 30th November - Finals Night

Please note if matches are not completed by the dates above BOTH players will be REMOVED from the tournament. Also, if you enter you must be able to play on Saturday 30th November.


RULES:

General

* Each round must be completed by the date displayed on the draw sheet.
* It is the responsibility of BOTH players to check the draw and make contact with their opponent to arrange a suitable date for the match.
* If no effort is made to make contact by either player, then both players can be withdrawn from the competition.
* If games are not played by the date displayed on the draw sheet, players can be put through or withdrawn at the discretion of the tournament organiser.
* The tournament organiser’s decision is final on all matters related to the tournament.
* All players losing their FIRST match will be entered automatically in the Plate Draw.
* IMPORTANT NOTE: THE PLATE DRAW WILL BE DONE ONCE THE FIRST AND SECOND ROUND MATCHES HAVE BEEN COMPLETED.


Handicap Scoring:

All matches are Best of 3 Games, Point a Rally Scoring to 15.
At 14-14, sudden death.
Handicaps can be adjusted to make the matches quicker and more enjoyable.
For example:
* o If player (a) has a handicap of -20 and player (b) has a handicap of -25, then each game, scoring would start at player (a) 0 and player (b) -5.
* o If player (a) has a handicap of +5 and player (b) has a handicap of +2, then each game, the scores STAY THE SAME!
* • There are NO STROKES THROUGHOUT THE TOURNAMENT, ONLY LETS.

PLEASE NOTE: If a player on a minus handicap is a playing someone on a plus handicap they can NEVER make their handicap larger and move the plus handicap down to zero!! If anyone does this they will be disqualified from the event. No excuses!

Racketball Scoring:

All matches (baring the final) are Best of 5 Games, Point a Rally Scoring 15. The final will be Best of 5.
At 14-14, sudden death at 14 - 14
