Clarification: Re-opening the Club and Membership renewals

Sorry all, me again!

I have had a couple of members come back and asking about the crediting of accounts and what this means.

Just for clairifcation - This is the crediting of the amounts mentioned below into the members MyCourts accounts. This can then be used for the booking of courts.

Hope that clarifies

Stuart.

Dear Members,

I hope you are all safe and well in these strange times!

England Squash will soon be publishing guidelines regarding the reopening of squash clubs and as soon as these are available and we are able to play, We will distrubte the new temporary rules & guidelines.

Meanwhile I would like to set out our policy regarding current memberships.

Cheam Squash Club is a club run by its members on behalf of its members. Our only income is based on annual subscriptions and court fees, and of course there has been no court fee income for more than two months now with expenses continue to be incurred (rent, affiliation to england squash etc). I am very happy to report that even during these difficult times, nearly two thirds of our membership have already paid their annual subscriptions, for which the club & commitee are very greatful.

In recognition of this we will be crediting the accounts of those members that have paid, a sum reflecting three months annual subscription. The amounts will be as follows;

Full member £45
Full Joint £33 each
Off peak £24
Student £15
Junior £6

I would encourage any member who has not paid up to now, to do so to help the club (the above mentioned credit will be applied if membership subs are recieved by 14th June).

If you do not wish to renew at this time that is absolutely fine however we will be ending the current membership cycle on Sunday 14th June and members not renewing will be set to inactive with access to mycourts and the club facility being withdrawn.

For those members not wishing to renew you can of course apply to re-join later and pay a pro rata amount as per usual practice.

Thanks and keep well!

Stuart & The Committee.
